The serenity you seek is closer than you think.
The Lilypad is a renovated studio space located on Quandamooka Country on the Redlands Coast in the village of Mount Cotton, Jungalpin/Tungipin. Retaining its country feel, the area is located midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast and a gateway to the natural wonders of Moreton Bay and the many islands of the region.
Home to the five star winery, Sirromet, farmland and large expanses of bushland, Mount Cotton has all the conveniences and sumptuous eateries nearby but an abundance of native wildlife and local national parks that offer spaces to enjoy bushwalks and picnics.
Elegant in design ...
It is said that good architecture that is well designed will be elegant and have a simplicity of form. This is what has been achieved by our architect/designer, Arielle Ralph. As you look around you will appreciate the elegance of the design. From Danish designed lights, luxurious toiletries, selected room scents to comfortable furnishings and object d’ arts, careful thought has gone into every detail to curate the space and provide an environment that will calm you and engage your senses.
The deep stone bath is set in a beautiful garden courtyard overlooking expanses of lawn where our wallabies graze. From your bed dressed in the finest linens you look out at the natural lagoon and bushland. You will enjoy an array of bird species on the water and in the air.
So you can choose to remain in our sanctuary we have a modern kitchen, equipped with microwave and two induction hotplates, a bar fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, and basic provisions. Free Wi-Fi is available as well as a 55’Smart television, streaming platforms, board games, books and magazines.
We encourage you to grab the picnic basket and a blanket and set up under the large, shady tree by the cottage. Our deck will draw you into reading on the sunbed and the fire pit will allow you to relax by the fire or gaze at the night sky.
